Mike and Ronnie began the job on July 5
and finished my 13x27 addition to my old kitchen 4 months
later. They worked carefully and methodically and
patiently put up with my many questions and changes.
Mike kept me abreast of what they were doing and would often
ask me questions and make suggestions. I can safely
say that I was very pleased with my contractor and highly
recommend Mike to anyone planning a remodeling job or
enlarging their existing home. |

We are very happy with the beautiful
addition that Mike Godin built to our 1913 home in Concord,
MA. He and his men showed great attention for detail
and a commitment to deliver high quality construction work.
During the building process Mike was always available to
communicate with us about the work in progress to make sure
we would be happy with the result. For us it was very
important that the addition would blend in with the existing
home. Although the addition was designed on
paper, Mike put a huge effort to find building materials
like floorboards, moldings, porch columns, etc. that would
match the existing home. He had many good suggestions
on how to make things work if an exact copy of the "old"
could not be found.
His workmen are skilled, friendly, and professional.
He has a good working relationship with his subcontractors.
This contributed to a pleasant working environment and
allowed the building process to stay on time. Because
our son has severe mold and dust allergies, we had special
concerns about living in the house while construction was
going on. Mike was very understanding about this and
made every effort to prohibit construction dust from
entering our living space. Our son never had any
problems.
In short, we are very satisfied with Mike's work and for our
next construction job, we would surely want to work with him

The questions I asked myself when
beginning my major addition were:
- Will the bid be thorough?
- Will the contractor be as invested in the outcome as I am?
- Will this job be a priority for the GC? Will it be
his only job?
- Can I count on the GC to be on site every day?
- Will the time-frame promised actually be achieved?
- Will the quality of the work be uncompromising?
In the case of Mike Godin and Godin Construction, the answer
to each of these questions was a resounding "yes".
I did a lot of research and looked at plenty of the big-name
builders. In the end, I could not have been happier
with my choice to hire Mike.
Finally, not only did I ask Mike to handle my next building
project, I also recommended him to my neighbors. And I
actually like them!
