Hinton Barn
A new barn constructed in the back
yard of a residence in Carlisle serves as a garage and
workshop on the ground floor, and as a large multi-purpose
family room on the second floor. The finished second
floor room has a cathedral ceiling and is filled with
natural light provided by two clerestory "eyebrow" dormer
windows on the roofs, as well as a wall of windows on the
gable end with views to the wooded landscape of the back
